Located in central-western South America, the neighbor Peru borders the Pacific Ocean to the west, Chile to the south, Bolivia and Brazil to the east, and Colombia and Ecuador to the north. The country has an area of 1285.215 Km.², sovereignty over the sea 200 miles from the Peruvian coast and is the third largest country in South America.
It has a population of 30 million people (Urban: 72.3%, Rural: 27.7%), which consists of a variety of races and cultures due to the Spanish conquest and the later migration of Africans, Asians and Europeans; and is divided into 24 departments, with Lima, its capital city and Machu Picchu one of this places in the world that you need to go before you died.
The Beaches can be reached by the Panamericana Highway, from Tumbes (North) to Tacna (South). Mancora (Piura), one of the emblematic beaches in the North is well known because of the surfers, excellent waves, and spectacular sunsets.
Near Lima, (97.5km South) you can also find the residential beaches known as Asia. Here you can find not only private and luxury beaches, but also an exclusive mall with all kinds of entertainment during days and nights. Gourmet Restaurants, discotheques, various activities, movie theaters, hair salons and a gyms are some places that can be found here. All this can be visited in summer season (mid December till April).
It is one of humanity’s greatest wonders. It’s on UNESCO World Heritage List and has been voted as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is the only intact Incan city in the world, because the conquistadores never find it and it remained unharmed. The views are spectacular and the history that is behind the construction and the way they lived, is amazing. This visit is special in many ways.
The entry to Machu Picchu can be done through two entrances: Intipunku or Sun Gate (only those who hike to Machu Picchu have the possibility to pass through this unique gate, the view is very beautiful in the morning, when the sun comes up) and the main entrance (this is where most travelers pass through when entering Machu Picchu. If the arrival is through Aguas Calientes, this will be the entrance).
This impressive lake, between Peru and Bolivia, is located at a height of 3,812 m (12,500 ft) and has a surface area of 8.372 km² . There are over 40 islands on it, some of which are not natural, but man-made floating islands. Some of the main attractions of the lake are: The Uros Floating Islands (around 42 artificial islands, constructed of floating reeds, namely totora reeds, which is a plant that lives in the shallow parts of Titicaca Lake), Amantani (a natural island with in area of 15 km². Alpacas and other animals can be seen walking around on the island.
The locals are famous for their textiles, ceramics and adobe houses) and Taquile (a hilly island in the lake, which was used as a prison during the Spanish colonial times and then afterwards until the beginning of the 20th century. The current population of the Taquile Island is around 3,000. The attractions include agricultural terraces, the beautiful views towards the mainland shores and nearby islands).
Peru is a true paradise of birds, with more than 1,800 species, 120 being endemic from Peru. It is the second highest number in any country in the world. Peru’s national bird is the Andean Cock-of-the-rock. Discover our birding routes: North (endemic species), Center and South.

DAY 01 – LIMA
Arrive in Lima. Transfer to selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 02 – LIMA /AREQUIPA
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, transfer to selected hotel. In the afternoon, guided tour of the city featuring the Convent of Santa Catalina, a fascinating relic of colonial times.
DAY 03 – AREQUIPA / COLCA
Departure for a full day journey to the Colca Valley. Several stops will be made for photographing the vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas. Arrival to Chivay. Lunch at a local restaurant and accommodation at selected hotel.
DAY 04 – COLCA / PUNO
Early departure to the Cruz del Condor to admire the Canyon at one of its deepest points and look at the majestic condors in flight. Early afternoon departure on regular bus service to Puno. Evening arrival to the bus station and transfer to selected hotel for the overnight.
DAY 05 – PUNO
Full day excursion to Taquile Island. On the way back stop at the floating islands of the Uros. Lunch included.
DAY 06 – PUNO / CUSCO
Leave by regular bus service to Cusco. Stopovers at Racchi and Andahuaylillas. Evening arrival in Cusco and transfer to selected hotel. Lunch included.
DAY 07 – CUSCO
Morning at leisure. Afternoon city tour including the surrounding ruins.
DAY 08 – CUSCO / URUBAMBA / MACHU PICCHU
Full day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Stroll and bargain at the handicrafts’ market of Pisac. After lunch, drive to Ollantaytambo fortress. Late afternoon, depart to Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) and transfer to selected hotel.
DAY 09 – MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Morning guided tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon return by train to Cusco and transfer to selected hotel.
DAY 10 – CUSCO / LIMA / OUT
Transfer to the airport to take flight to Lima. Connection for your flight back home.
End of services.
